Requirements: V Festival tried something different last year. They required Monster Displays to help them target the thousands upon thousands of festival-goers during the Parklife festival in Manchester.
The key here was well-targeted and relevant advertising. We knew that we were addressing a huge target audience, but we also knew that people were there to listen to music and have a good time. We didn’t want to be pushy and we didn’t want to tell them what to do, so we really thought about what we were presenting.

Solutions: We’re happy to say that we absolutely made our mark. Why? Because we belonged there. We didn’t push some corporate message. We had everyone at Parklife dancing around our digital advan, because we engaged with people on a personal, human level. You can take a look at our video to see how much people loved the quirky novelty of the advan – we know the “unique” things in life are what entice people, and we had entire queues waving and paying attention to our adverts.

Outcome: Virgin festival promoters, ultimately, were very pleased with the end result.
