Following on from a very successful mobile digital billboard campaign in 2018 Islamic Relief continue to use digital advans to help communicate their message to communities throughout the UK.
Islamic Relief is predominantly concerned with humanitarian relief and disaster preparedness specialising in development programmes that improve access to sustainable livelihoods, healthcare, education, water, sanitation and hygiene; and advocating on behalf of those in need.
Ramadan is a holy time when over one billion Muslims around the world fast and focus their attention on giving to charity, know as Zakat. The charity wanted to increase donations in the Holy month of Ramadan.
They recognised that during the holy season as fasting ends each day with Iftar; families and friends spend alot of time Out of home in order to feast and celebrate the days breaking of fast and the gorilla style that are mobile billboards provides Islamic relief the perfect opportunity to reach people at this time of giving and ensure they are considered a worthy cause for donations.
We toured across the United Kingdom and selected locations where we knew there would be donors at key locations and busy periods. We attended Taraweeh prayers (night prayers during Ramadan) in London, Birmingham, Bradford, Manchester and many more cities.
